Andrei was part of the writing team of Comedy Island Philippines, a brand new kind of experimental show that puts participants’ strength, intelligence, and comedic ability to the test in order to save humanity! The show will stream in 2023 in Amazon Prime Asia.

Andrei was a researcher for Monocle Radio’s three live news shows, The Globalist; The Briefing; and the Daily. He conducted fieldwork interviews and created content for Monocle on Culture and Monocle on Design shows. He also provided daily administrative assistance to the radio department, including doing research and writing scripts for Meet the Writers and liaising with in-studio guests for the shows.

Andrei led the curatorial team of the University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martin's UN.KNOW Festival of Applied Imagination. He programmed 40 works and events across three days as part of the final showcase of MA students from the school's Applied Imagination Program as well as guest participants from MA Culture, Curation, and Criticism. He coordinated with the build team to design the layout of the festival and collaborated with Central Saint Martin's Tech and 3D Large teams.

In collaboration with An.OtherAsian, the Art of Expression workshop provided an environment for queer South Asian and Southeast Asian creatives to reflect on the issues and challenges they face as they navigate through the creative ecosystem in London. Participants problematised solutions on how queer Southeast Asian artists can be empowered to take up space - reflecting on their intersectional identities, safe space-making as a practice, and responding to the world around them.

SIYA Artist Workshops offered queer artists of colour a space to develop new works that amplify LGBTQIA+ voices and represent diverse narratives of queer communities. London-based actor, mover, and writer Bianca Stephens participated in a two-week series of dramaturgical sessions, providing a safe space-maker for creation, reflection, open conversations, and critical feedback. The process was iterative, developing and documenting a work-in-progress performance by Bianca.

Founded FringeMNL or the Fringe Manila International Arts Festival in the Philippines, which debuted in February 2015. Designed the festival as a platform for emerging local and international artists to be able present their works to the public. Cultivated partnerships with public and private organisations as well as individuals for sponsorships and donations. The festival spawned Fringe Creatives in 2018.

Conceptualised and produced events through exhibitions, performances, festivals, and immersive experiences both digitally and in-person. Managed Pineapple Lab’s performance space, gallery, and retail concept store called Glorious Dias. Worked closely with local communities to implement creative interventions that provide inclusive and accessible arts programmes in the Philippines.

Conceptualised and implemented Anakbanwa, which invited artists across all disciplines to conduct research and immerse themselves in the local creative communities, cultural heritage, traditional artistic practices, and experience the ecological landscape of the fourth district of Pangasinan. Artists-in-residence were asked to create work that responded to current social justice and climate change issues relevant today.

Karakoa is a collective from Southeast Asia and Japan that facilitates transnational cultural exchanges; creating a space for sharing contemporary artistic practices and its processes with the society.
By bridging independent creatives with art spaces, networks, festivals, and cultural organizations – Karakoa is a vehicle for meaningful collaborations and exchange to provide a safe space for artistic ideas and expressions. Karakoa produced the Creators' Cradle Circuit in 2018-19 and 2019-2020.

‘Linya’ by Ugnayan was a multidisciplinary project staged in Manila on 7th March 2020. It was a performative exhibition imagined by renowned New-York-based Filipina dancer and choreographer Elizabeth Roxas-Dobrish, French artist Henri Lamy and French-Filipina art director Maïa d’Aboville.
It was an immersive forty-five minute show that featured local FIlipino dancers Ea Torrado, Maisie Marie Briones, Ghian Renzen Arboleda, and Paulina Reyes.

In partnership with The Japan Foundation, Manila, 1SA – Solo Arts Platform, celebrated solo artists who were commissioned to create new works and premiere existing material for Philippine audiences for the first time. 1SA served as an avenue for solo performers and artists straddling hyphenate identities and cultures to engage with local communities while exploring various mediums of artistic expression.
1SA was the first ever solo arts festival produced in the Philippines.
